Insurance
The building and liability insurance outside the unit is covered by the
Condo Homeowners Association. This insurance policy does not insure
Home owner’s contents or sewer backups. Make sure your Homeowners Insurance includes a HO-6 coverage.
Winter Issues
Compresses or artificial logs are not to be burned in fireplaces. They
burn too hot and may create a fire hazard. If you leave for the
winter,
please set your thermostat no lower than 60 degrees. If you have an outside faucet, please shut it
off and drain it.

are to be registered in the Lake Barrington Shores Management Office. Pets and

Sailing Association
The
Sailing Association hold races here on our lake! They also host sailing related social
activities! There are twenty Sunfish
sailboats available for certified sailors!
Conservators
The
Conservators maintain and restore designated, damaged, or degraded ecosystems
within
Fishing
Fishing
is allowed in our 90-acre lake, which is stocked with panfish, bass, Northern
Pike and catfish. Live bait other than
worms are not to be used!!! A current
fishing license is required! Panfish are
“keepers” but others are “ catch and release”.
Platform tennis is available from October to April. There are 3 heated and lit courts. Please call the Rec Center to make a reservation, @ 847-382-1660.
Bowling
Bowling begins in October and ends in April. Members meet every other Sunday at 3-D Lanes in Island Lake. Watch Channel 4 for details! All are welcome, no matter the level of skill!!
Tennis
There are 10 courts available for play. There are also ball machines available and lessons taught by a pro! To find out information on this contact the Tennis Association through the Rec Center @847-382-1660.
Shorecroppers
The Shorecroppers plant veggies, flowers, herbs and much more in a plowed garden plot 1-mile from LBS! Watch channel 4 for updates!
Shorestichers
is a group that is interested in all types of needlework! All levels of skill and interest are
welcome! Meetings are the second and
fourth Tuesday of each month @ 1:00p.m. in the Upper Level Lounge of the Rec
Center.
The garden club is composed of volunteers who work with the landscape coordinator to beautify LBS, especially at the entrance gates.
Photography Club
The photography club is comprised of all persons interested in photography. The group meets on the second Thursday of the month.
Various parties
and activities are set on a monthly basis by the Social and Sports
