A walking/hiking path goes around the lake.
The views are spectacular at any time of the year, affording a glorious
way in which to get some fresh air and exercise. At the north end of the
lake is a 33-acre Forest Preserve. The many animals that call this
sanctuary home may not be seen often, but the plant
life is very visible and abundant.
Located at the south end of the Lake, the Marina is the hub of Lake activities. There are canoes, kayaks, rowboats, paddleboats and sailboats available for resident use. A pontoon boat is available for free rides on weekend afternoons from noon till 2 and is available for private parties till 6 as well. A swimming beach, picnic tables and barbeque area is available on the north side of the Marina. Click here for more info on the forest preserve
