The Illinois Secretary of State mobile unit will be at LBS on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 10 AM to 2 PM. Residents can renew documents that expire no later than August 6, 2019.   In addition, the Secretary of State will renew license plate stickers, disabled persons ID cards, and add Veterans designation to driver’s licenses and state ID cards and organ donor registrations.

Cost is standard State of Illinois fees, and varies by age. No charge for State ID for seniors over age 65. The Mobile Unit does not accept cash, residents can pay with check or credit card. Proper identification will be required.   For renewals this information is already registered, if not a proof of address and social security number will be needed. Those over age 75 have to visit the DMV to renew drivers licenses.
